Bulgarian Yogurt Starter Cultures for homemade delicious and probiotic yogurt – 10 capsules of starter culture, 240 gram each for 1 to 2L milk.

Bulgarian yogurt is a unique diary product produced as a result of the activity of symbiotic culture of Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus.

Lactobacillus bulgaricus has numerous beneficial probiotic properties in the human body and the consumption of the delicious Bulgarian yogurt is the best way to help and maintain the balance of the intestinal microflora. The strains in the probiotic yogurt starter are eliminating “bad” cholesterol, detoxifying the body and have anticancerogenic effect.

Bulgarian yogurt is delicious, healthy and probiotic food which is easy to make at home with our yogurt starter available now in our online store.

Bulgarian yogurt starter cultures are 100% natural product and do not contain genetically modified ingredients.

Preparation steps:

  1. Boil the raw milk
  2. Keep it hot for 30 min.
  3. Cool it down to 42 – 45°C
  4. Add the starter culture and stir well.
  5. Wait for 8 – 10 hours without stirring at 42 – 45°C.
  6. Put it in the refrigerator until cooled down to 10°C without stirring

The quality of the finished product depends on the quality of the milk which is used. If the result is not satisfactory, try another milk.

    Bulgarian started worked perfectly on my first try. The taste is smooth with pleasant odor. I will never ever going to buy store-bought product yogurt again! Right now we are preparing the second batch 🙂
